Radcliffe Child Care Center, a Harvard University-affiliated center, is currently seeking experienced teachers to join their team of dedicated early childhood professionals. Nestled in the heart of Harvard Square, and just steps away from the Charles River, Radcliffe is home to five early childhood classrooms with children three months to five years of age. Our teachers work collaboratively in teams of four to provide the highest quality early childhood education and care. We are inspired by the world-renown schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy. We share the belief that fundamental to our work is a respect for the capabilities and potential of every child and the hopes and dreams of every family. We believe that every child is naturally curious, and that no child exists in isolation from his or her peers, family, teachers, or community, each child forms meaning through interactions with others. We value the participation of families in enriching the child’s learning experience and forging connections between home and the classroom. In addition to being Reggio-inspired, we are an NAEYC accredited program.

Candidates should be familiar with NAEYC standards, EEC regulations, and have an understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We seek teachers who have experience documenting the learning of children, planning exciting and dynamic curriculum, have knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice, and who are committed to growing and learning with children alongside children, colleagues, and parents.

Qualified Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, EEC certification, and a minimum of one to two years of working with young children. Candidates should be professional, warm, flexible, and passionate about Early Childhood Education.
