Our Community

We consider children citizens and are committed to establishing a close relationship with our local community. As citizens we want the children to be visible and known for their intelligence, capabilities and empathy. Our daily excursions and project work includes exploring Harvard Square, Harvard Yard, the nearby Charles River and countless courtyards where children of all ages play, chase shadows and discover the wonder of life in its multiple forms from a tiny centipede to majestic one hundred year old trees! In addition, our local community provides children with many resources and various opportunities to develop relationships with local shop owners, visit museums and take classes from dance to swimming.
